XII. Cat Claw:
Extra, extra, read all about it…
Allow me to start backwards so that I may move forward.

Ah, finally, I made it back to normality which I would typically call a drag, but in this moment is not a drag, as it is much easier to write in the normal way.
Book XII. of Jackism, The Fairytale Religion, is called Cat Claw, which I will not get into via the blog, but which I did get into via the audio-vlog above a bit, so you may listen to that if interested.
There is a main lesson here and a reoccurring theme in this book and others that I will explain here. The main lesson in book XII. Cat Claw, is that “The Gods goldenly fullfill the ones who dost try goldenly.” That is to say, “Faith without works is dead.” as the bible states.
In Zen Buddhism, this is known as The Way of The Monkey (Jiriki), as opposed to The Way of The Kitten (Tariki). The way of the kitten is as so: The kitten relies on the mother for travel. The kitten does nothing, and the mother does everything; picking it up by the nape of the neck and traveling the kitten in this way. Symbolically this represents a person who relies on God for saving (faith alone) and does nothing else. Christianity is a spiraling down whirlpool of this today: “You are forgiven, so you need not do a thing.” It is the black velvet cloak of Satanism whose main message is “Do As Thou Wilt” which means, “Do What You Want.” “You are forgiven – so do what you want.” Even the Wiccan Rede reads in the end “And Ye Harm None Do What Ye Will.” So, “do what you will, so long as youre not hurting anyone.”, and so even Wicca has a higher standard than today’s Christianity, in my humble opinion.
The way of the monkey, which is what Zen teaches, is as so: The baby monkey does not rely fully on the mother to pick him up for travel – he holds onto her back himself as she moves. This is the example of “faith & works”. He works to hold on, and his mother (or God) travels him because he does so. The way of the monkey is the way, but most people are too lazy and would rather be the weak helpless kitten because, you know, “work”.
A reoccurring theme in this story and some other tales in my book: Jackism, The Fairytale Religion, is that if you indeed start South you will be brought back to North. That is to say, in order to Ascend, you must first Descend, or in the least you are forced to start at a descend, because that is what gives you the means to ascension. You must always start low, or else there is no such thing as high. This is why is must always be “Darkest Before The Dawn”, there is no Dawn without the Darkness.
We are also living, in my opinion, and I think it is quite obvious, in the time of the Kali Yuga (the 4th Hindu age of materialism & ignorance) and so darkness/shadow has consumed much. It is as if in the first cycle/age, the Golden Age, there was no sun – because the earth was aglow itself, and so a sun wasn’t necessary, and since what was below was aglow, there was not shadow. In the 2nd age (Silver) God introduces a dab of darkness, and we can say that a sun is birthed and begins to orbit horizontally so that if there is only an object behind you, you may catch a glimpse of a shadow, but still, the Light is much more prominent than the Dark. The 3rdage is when they say suffering is introduced, and there is more darkness almost equal to the light, and the sun, you may say, orbits almost fully above head, and more shadow is cast. And the 4th age (Kali) the sun is completely above, and shadow is everywhere, and so we live in the age of Hide & Seek, where it must be always darkest before the dawn.
I am sick of writing, as I did not even want to from the start, and there is more in the video above.
Strength & Honor,
